Treasures and bargains abound at the LVIS thrift shops!
Our bright and cheerful shops offer the best selection of gently used men’s and women’s clothing & accessories, second-hand books, housewares, and furniture on the East End.
Constant donations provide a steady influx of merchandise so it is worthwhile to check our racks and shelves often.
Revenue from the LVIS Thrift Shops provides major funding for the many LVIS projects.

We accept only clean, gently used items in salable condition, including:
Books
Furniture, rugs, art and lamps
Decorative home furnishings, including holiday and seasonal decor
Women’s and men’s clothing
Jewelry and accessories
Shoes, handbags, luggage and small leather goods
Housewares, dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils
Linens, throw pillows, curtains and bolts of fabric
Tennis rackets, golf clubs and other sports equipment
Kindly separate and label items between books, clothing, and household items.

Electronics and appliances
Damaged or soiled merchandise
Beds, mattresses and bed frames
Electronic blankets and heating pads
Medical equipment, wheelchairs and walkers
Guns, knives (except kitchenware) and other hunting equipment
Children’s clothing, toys and stuffed animals
Cribs, strollers, car seats

LIMIT OF 5 BOXES OR BAGS PER DONATION please!
Clothing, shoes, and accessories should be clean and folded with no rips or stains.
Housewares should be clean, with no chips, burns or breaks. Cookware should be clean and in near perfect condition.
Books should be free of mold, tears, highlights and notes. No encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, or magazines. No VCR tapes, CDs or cassettes.
Furniture and art should be clean, without stains, mold, tears or breaks.

Make an appointment using our online scheduler for a Wednesday - Saturday, 10 am - 1 pm. Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance.
If our standard appointment times do not fit into your schedule, call 631-324-1220, ext. 4 and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
